In the name of sharing and caring, we have collected a number of links to organisations, websites and also to other blogs that we follow. These are generally New Zealand based, and help share the motorhome / caravan way of life and the amazing beauty that is New Zealand.

Blogs / Vlogs

These are some of the blogs and vlogs that we follow, these give us some ideas and inspiration as to travel locations and ideas when it comes to planning our next big trip. 

Fiona & Chris, two empty nesters put their dreams of doing something different into reality… Living in their Motorhome.

Andy, Amber and their two children Jake and Daisy, live full time on the road in a self converted bus. They have their own YouTube channel and Vlog regularly.

John and Sarah after retiring in 2017 having updated their motorhome and have a plan to journey around New Zealand. They are not living in the van full time but do intend to make the most of this fantastic country.

Carl and Justine, a couple of artists/photographers living full time on the road in their motorhome/tiny house  which they have named "The Moog".  They share their story about what it is like to live full time in a motorhome, whilst trying to make a living, all while sharing the amazing places that they visit and stay. 

Shane 'n' Jude are fulltime Motorhome Lifestylers (Moho Living). Both have retired from a background in the emergency services (Paramedicine / Ambulance), and a strong outdoor adventuring lifestyle.

Join Karen, a solo female living and travelling in a caravan around New Zealand!  Karen aims to share both the good and the bad, as well as passing on tips and lessons that she has learnt.  Karen has also started to interview people with a similar lifestyle and shares the sights that she sees.

Join Shellie Evans and her husband David, with over five years experience travelling and living full time on the road. Shellie is a prolific blogger, keen birder & serious amateur photographer.

Retired in 2014 and living on the road full-time and enjoying life without lawns, gardens and a house to tend.

Organisations

These are organisations that support and advocate for motorhoming and caravaning in New Zealand. We should support these organisations and motorhoming and caravaning is becoming one of the fastest growing past-times in New Zealand

Products & Sevices

In order to survive there are various companies, products and services that we need to make things work for us.

Wireless Nation provide us with our broadband internet, which is usable for us both at home and while we are on the road.  They have also teamed up with the NZMCA to provide a great deal to members.

Website

 An open source CMS that is our preferred CMS, it is flexable, intuitive and robust.

Travellers Point is an awesome resource for travel planing and journey recording.  We use it mainly for its mapping resource. Free and simple.

Our original social media interface was through a 'free' wordpress blog, and for those that want to expand into content creation, it is not a bad place to start. Blogs are an excellent way to tell and share a story.  Wordpress is also a great simple but extendable software system that is available with many hosting accounts
